Dr. Cynthia Cozette Lee, is an international award-winning, innovative, contemporary neo-classical composer. She writes music in a lyrical style, and is one of the most versatile, gifted composers of her time. Dr. Lee composes moving, lyrical opera arias in a modern bel canto style. She has also created inspiring art songs and spiritual arrangements. Her vocal, choral, instrumental flute and orchestral music compositions have won composition prizes and awards. Dr. Lee’s inspiring music has been performed internationally with such professional, distinguished music groups as the Orchestre Symphonique du Loiret, the South Florida Chamber Ensemble, Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia and the Women of Color Festival in New York City.

 

Cynthia Cozette has composed an exciting variety of over 150 classical music compositions for vocal, orchestral, choral, chamber, string and wind ensembles and more than a dozen flute works as well as four operas. Her inspiring music has been heard on radio broadcasts in London, England. She is highly revered in the classical music community and her music has been well received by critics and the audiences. She has a soon to be published music catalog where her inspiring works can be published.
